Insurance
As a courtesy to you, our office will be happy to complete and submit your primary insurance claims to your designated company. In most cases, payments will be made directly to our office. We ask that you bring your current dental insurance information (and a form, if applicable) with you to your first appointment and notify us if your coverage changes. You will be responsible for submitting secondary insurance claims if necessary. There is a great variety in types of dental insurance. 100% coverage is rarely offered. Some dental services may not be considered a covered charge. It is your
responsibility to pay any balance not paid by your insurance within 30 days of service. Since it is virtually impossible for us to keep track of all policies and types of coverage, it is your responsibility to inquire if treatment is a covered expense under your policy before you accept treatment, and to inquire to your insurance if there is a question about the benefit they rewarded. The agreement of the insurance company is a contract between you, your employer and the company, but we'll do everything we can to help
you receive your full benefits.
Methods of Payment
Payment for uninsured services, deductibles and co-payment is due on the day of service unless previous arrangements have been made. If your insurance does not pay the estimated amount, we will notify you and you will have 30 days to pay the difference.
We gladly accept:
- Personal checks and cash*
- Debit and Flexible Spending cards
- Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express
- Extended Financing through CareCredit (based on approval)
* We offer a 10% Accounting Reduction for cash payments.
For patients with insurance who would like to utilize this courtesy; the total cost of treatment before insurance, will be collected, then claims will be filed to reimburse you.
